The School of Business at Mount Saint Mary College has received specialized accreditation for its business programs through the International Accreditation Council for Business Education (IACBE) located at 11960 Quivira Road in Overland Park, Kansas, USA

Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE)

The Baccalaureate degree in Nursing, the Master's degree in Nursing, and the post-graduate APRN certificate programs at Mount Saint Mary College are accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (http://www.ccneaccreditation.org). Officially recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education as a national accreditation agency, the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) is an autonomous accrediting agency, contributing to the improvement of the public's health. CCNE ensures the quality and integrity of baccalaureate, graduate, and residency programs in nursing. CCNE serves the public interest by assessing and identifying programs that engage in effective educational practices. As a voluntary, self‑regulatory process, CCNE accreditation supports and encourages continuing self‑assessment by nursing programs and supports continuing growth and improvement of collegiate professional education and post-baccalaureate nurse residency programs.

Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP)

In 2018, the Mount’s Education programs earned accreditation by the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP).  At this time, Mount Saint Mary College is currently pursuing accreditation of its educator preparation programs by the Association for Advancing Quality in Educator Preparation (AAQEP). Pursuant to §52.21 of the Regulations of the Commissioner of Education, the educator preparation programs offered by Mount Saint Mary College are considered to be continuously accredited for purposes of meeting the New York State requirement that all such programs maintain continuous accreditation.
