Trip opportunity to Fanjeaux, France

Every year, CDI sponsors a trip for selected faculty, staff, and students to travel to the medieval hilltop town where St. Dominic's vision took shape. Participants will travel to historic sites and locations in southern France. Student travelers can earn credits through this opportunity.

- Dominican colleges and universities across the United States send 2 faculty/staff and 2 students to southern France to learn more about the life of Saint Dominic, the Dominican tradition, and enjoy the sites, food and wine of southern France!
- Students take an interdisciplinary course: Saint Dominic and the Middle Ages and earn 3 credit from Molloy University. Credits transferred back to Mount Saint Mary College
- Faculty and staff participate in a different program that focuses on Dominican higher education
- Both groups take day trips to special sites in southern France together, eat together, etc.
Deadline for application: Friday, January 20, 2023
- MUST have a valid U.S. Passport at time of application & good through September 12, 2022
- Faculty/Staff: Airfare & Program Cost ($2950) provided by Mount Saint Mary College
- Students: Program Cost ($3200) student’s responsibility + 3 Credits from Molloy University that are transferred to MSMC (history, English)
- Airfare is gifted by the Dominican Sisters of Hope
Student Payment Schedule:
- January 15- $500
- March 30- $1350
- April 30- $1350
Scholarships available!
Student scholarship for air fare provided through the generosity of the Dominican Sisters of Hope.
Full faculty and staff funding provided through the generosity of Mount Saint Mary College.
