We know how hard you’ve worked to get to this point, and we want to reward you for your efforts. That’s why the Mount gives out more than $20 million in scholarships and grants each year. In fact, more than 95% of our students end up receiving scholarships and grants from the college each year, because we recognize how important it is to make a small, private education affordable.

Types of Scholarships:

*All students are considered for these scholarships at the time of application unless otherwise noted. Scholarships designated as “renewable” mean that the student will be awarded the scholarship annually for up to four years, provided they remain in good academic standing and still qualify for the scholarship based on program participation, etc. Students in the 5-year BA/MSed program can carry their scholarship to the 5th year; BA/MBA students may qualify for an alumni discount on their fifth year.

Donor Scholarships

Several friends of the Mount have created scholarships in memory of loved ones or to help students in certain programs or with financial needs. Eligibility criteria differs for each scholarship based on various factors such as the student's GPA, financial need, major, geographic location, etc. All Mount students can apply to all available Donor Scholarships through one application here. For application details, please contact the Office of Financial Aid at SFS@msmc.edu.

Needs-Based Grants

We award a number of grants based on financial need to first-year students each year. The level of assistance offered depends on the amount of financial need and the availability of funds, which is why we encourage students to file the FAFSA as soon as possible. These grants can be renewable depending upon continued financial need based on each year’s FAFSA and maintenance of good academic standing.
