Mount Saint Mary College is a community of bright, determined, and service-oriented people. Here, you can discover your purpose through hands-on experience and classwork with faculty that know you by name. With 96% of our students employed or in graduate school within 6 months of graduating, you can feel confident that we’ll set you on your path to success.
Our students benefit from state-of-the-art learning facilities on campus, and enhance their education through hands-on learning. Nursing students learn basic skills in our simulation labs, then go on to one of our 50+ clinical sites partnerships. Education students can teach at our Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 8 school located on campus, where they gain the skills needed to lead their own classrooms. Students in other majors can participate in both large and small city internships to grow their network and skills.
And the proof is in the numbers! US News & World Report recently ranked our Nursing program as one of the top in the nation, and ranked the Mount in the top 100 Regional Universities North for social mobility and overall excellence. Two alumni have been named New York State Teachers of the Year. Plus, the Mount ranks in the top 10 percent nationally among ALL colleges and universities for return-on-investment at 30 years and beyond according to a recent study by Georgetown University for Education and the Workforce 2022.
