Ann Murray

Bio

Beginning with my first position after graduating with my bachelor's degree, I have been a teacher. I have taught individuals with disabilities, elementary, middle, high school, and college students.

The dedication and skill of the nurses who cared for my son after a serious car accident inspired me to continue my education. After his rehabilitation, I returned to school and changed my career to nursing. I have been continuing my education as a nurse ever since, graduating in 2020 from Mount Saint Mary College as a Family Nurse Practitioner.

Working as a nurse and nurse practitioner, I can educate and influence a single person. As an educator of nurses, I have the opportunity to influence the profession as a whole. In support of this goal, I am studying for a doctoral degree with a focus on education and leadership in healthcare.
