College Life: Coping with the COVID Crisis, a film by six Mount Saint Mary College senior students, will be screened on Thursday, May 6 via Zoom.

More information, such as the time and the registration link, will be announced soon. Please visit the film's Instagram page at www.msmc.edu/capstone for the most up-to-date info.

The film is being worked on by both Public Relations majors and Production majors though the college's Communication, Art, and Digital Media Program as their capstone project.

College Life: Coping with the COVID Crisis will detail the ins and outs of college life during the current pandemic, featuring the viewpoints of students, faculty, and administrators. Hear how professors quickly made the leap from in-person classes to virtual ones, how students adapted to the new normal upon their return to campus, and how Mount President Dr. Jason N. Adsit is navigating the challenges of keeping the Mount community safe during this unprecedented time.

The project "has been a great opportunity to get hands-on experience and build the students' portfolios," said Dean Goldberg, professor of Digital Media and Film Studies and director of the Communication, Art, and Digital Media program. Goldberg is overseeing the film's production.

The Mount's Communication, Art, and Digital Media program encompasses the study of journalism, video production, advertising, public relations, art, design, and film studies at the college. Housed in the Mount's Division of Arts and Letters, the program prepares students for both traditional and emerging professions.
