Mount Saint Mary College is proud to announce that Emily Ricci ’15, assistant director of Digital Communications, adjunct professor of Religious Studies, and president of Gloriam Marketing, LLC has been selected to receive a Forty Under 40 Mover and Shaker Award from the Dutchess County Regional Chamber of Commerce.
Each year, the chamber bestows the honor upon 40 individuals under the age of 40 who have shown a strong commitment to the Hudson Valley. A selection committee, comprised of former honorees, judged nominations based on professional and community achievements. An award ceremony will take place in April.
“I am honored and humbled to be selected as an honoree of this year’s Forty Under 40 class,” said Ricci. “I am proud to be representing my organizations, and all the wonderful people I am blessed to work with, through this designation.”
Ricci joined the Mount’s Marketing and Communications department a few months after graduating from the college in 2015. She excels in social media management and has more than tripled the Mount’s social media engagement in the last two years. As an adjunct professor at the Mount teaching Religious Studies courses, Ricci not only helps to increase her students’ knowledge of the Bible and the study of faith, she also leads her students in service of their own at Bishop Dunn Memorial School.
In 2016, Ricci founded Gloriam Marketing, LLC, a Catholic marketing and creative agency. As the only specifically Catholic marketing company in New York, Gloriam works with Catholic churches, schools, and businesses both regionally and throughout the country to provide marketing services focused on evangelization. Offering everything from email and social media marketing to web design and content development, her company specializes in emphasizing the correlations between Biblical evangelization methods and modern marketing techniques to help parishes and Catholic ministries better promote themselves, their faith, and their community offerings.
“I feel really blessed to be able to do everything that I do,” Ricci said “Some people never get to find one career they’re passionate about. I’m lucky enough to have three that I absolutely love.”
Ricci holds a master’s degree in Theology from the Augustine Institute and a bachelor’s degree in English from Mount Saint Mary College. Her company, Golriam Marketing, can be found at www.gloriammarketing.com
