Mount Saint Mary College senior Victoria Veloz-Vicioso of Englewood, N.J., a Business major with a concentration in Marketing and a minor in Digital Media Production, was recently named a 2022 Hispanic Scholarship Fund (HSF) Scholar.
Every year, HSF selects about 10,000 outstanding students as HSF Scholars from a broad and talented pool of applicants. This year there were nearly 125,000 applicants. The scholarship award ranges from $500 to $5,000 to cover the cost of education.
Vicioso was recognized for her academic skill at a recent HSF ceremony.
“The room filled with students who attend Harvard, Yale, Duke, and Stanford,” she explained. “I was proudly representing Mount Saint Mary College! It was an absolute dream.”
Vicioso has completed several internships during her time at the Mount and, on her own, earned her license as a New Jersey Real Estate Agent. In addition to serving as president of the Mount’s Latino Student Union, she is also secretary of the college’s Student Business Association.
