Nurse practitioners can prescribe medications, diagnose conditions, and provide treatment, all while still being focused on patient care. A Master of Science in Nursing can also qualify degree holders for roles in healthcare administration and leadership, teaching, and doctoral school.

The Mount's School of Nursing is a renowned leader for training healthcare professionals in the Hudson Valley and beyond. A recent survey of the Mount's Master of Science in Nursing graduates revealed that 100 percent were employed full-time.

Located 60 miles north of New York City, the Mount offers bachelor's degree programs preparing students for careers in Healthcare, Business, Education, Social Services, Communication/Media, and more. Master's degree programs include options in Nursing, Business, and Education.
