Learn how to think, work, and build like a startup over the course of three action-packed days. Techstars Startup Weekend is an exciting and immersive foray into the world of startups. During the event, participants will meet mentors, investors, cofounders, and sponsors and learn how to get more done faster – and maybe even start that business.
Participants will form teams on Friday, develop their businesses on Saturday, and give their final pitches on Sunday. Teams will also have the opportunity to attend several helpful mentoring and information sessions over the course of the weekend.
The latest Techstars event has garnered a lot of interest from local businesses, explained event co-coordinator Micah Modell, assistant professor of Information Technology at the Mount.
“This is an opportunity to meet enthusiastic peers and build a team to turn our ideas into real businesses,” said Modell. “The full weekend event takes advantage of local business leaders as mentors to help shape our dreams into realistic possibilities.”
