Brian Moore, director of Purchasing, and his daughters Allison and Emily taught the Mount Saint Mary College community how to make the perfect pizza pie at home on Tuesday, April 22.
Via an online meeting, the Moore family demonstrated how to make a traditional pie with common ingredients, live from the kitchen of their Montgomery, N.Y. home. Next, they demonstrated how to make smaller snack-sized pizza treats using an English muffin as a base.
Emily Moore is a freshman on the childhood education track at the Mount.
The Mount has hosted similar cooking shows recently, including meatballs and sauce made by Elaine O’Grady, vice president for students, and her daughter Kayla, a Mount senior; and Penne Alla Vodka made by Student Government Association Vice President Joe Galasso and his dad.
The Pizza Tuesday event was hosted by the Mount Activities and Planning Board (MAP).
