Mount Saint Mary College’s Family Weekend included a popular carnival, where students and their families enjoyed games, food, and comradery.
Mount Saint Mary College students had a great time showing their families what life is like on campus during the college’s Family Weekend, September 28 and 29.
The weekend was full of great events for the whole family. On Saturday afternoon, Mount students and their families mingled with classmates and professors, played games, ate traditional street fair foods, and took in some live dance performances at an on-campus carnival.
On Saturday night, the Mount’s Theatre group and the Division of Arts and Letters presented the stage combat show “Let’s Fight.” Former Disney stunt performer Mark Rose showed how fight routines are devised and performed, wowing the audience with an epic sword battle.
In addition, families cheered on their sons and daughters in friendly games of soccer and volleyball, enjoyed live music and wine tasting at the Mount Family Mingle, had a tasty Sunday morning brunch, and more.
